The tests are carried out in order to ensure the effective use of agricultural and reclamation equipment, their aggregates, units in the soil and climatic conditions of the republic and to check their reliability when used on the field conditions of the republic.
The basis for testing agricultural and land reclamation equipment on the territory of the republic is the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 27, 2020 No. PP-4760 "On measures to improve the system of testing and certification of agricultural and land reclamation equipment."

The procedure for testing agricultural and reclamation equipment was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 214 of August 1, 2013 "On improving the activities of the Uzbek State Center for Certification and Testing of Agricultural Equipment and Technologies under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan"
The equipment is considered to have passed the test if it is included in the Unified State Register of Agricultural and Land Reclamation Equipment, recommended for use on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Tests of agricultural and reclamation equipment are carried out by accredited testing laboratories, currently it is the Uzbek State Center for Certification and Testing of Agricultural Equipment and Technologies.
Periodic tests of agricultural and reclamation equipment produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan are carried out in the following terms:
tractors and self-propelled vehicles - once every two years;
Agricultural and land reclamation machines - once every three years.
Samples of products, regularly imported in batches (5 or more per year), must be submitted for periodic tests in order to control the stability of their quality, including: periodic tests are carried out every two years after the start of delivery of products to the republic; Delivery of products for testing is carried out by organizations importing products.
An interactive service portal and database on new agricultural and ameliorative products, on the range of equipment and quality (basic classifications) of products manufactured and imported into the Republic of Uzbekistan, which have passed the appropriate tests in accredited testing laboratories in agricultural production, corresponding to the requirements of technical regulations and recommended for use on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and on manufacturers or importers of agricultural machinery in the country.
